Fashion Advice for Fall 2009

Fashion can be very difficult to keep up with.  How does one rationalize spending so much money on something then throwing it away the very next year?  This year neon pink looks to be making a return.  Michael Kors is among the designers trusted for such radical trends.  Even if a big jacket or dress are out of the picture, you can still get something small and pink to get little benefit from the trend.

The hottest chic thing to don this fall as far as footwear goes is definitely over the knee boots.  Peculiarly for the monotone style, these kind of boots do marvels.  People used to think that monochrome was a complete no-no in fashion, but this year it has evidently made a comeback.  If you have a huge green dress with green stockings, over the knee boots might be that extra touch needed to wow the crowds.

Sequins are being applied more this year.  They are employing sequined skirts to make a low key classy look that can be pulled off most any day of the year.  Whether long velvet dresses are used over them is another story.  Short velvet dresses are a more innovative take on the longer counterparts and they also make a direct environment for the common over the knee boots.

When fashion gets into the films, masses pay attention.  One person who is always wearing the best clothes is Angelina Jolie.  If you pay attention to the Angelina Jolie movies you will notice she is incessantly dressed to impress.  Whether she’s bearing accordion-pleat tops or chain covered booties, she can really show off those looks.
